Bollard not concerned over NZ dollar strength

Reserve Bank of New Zealand governor Alan Bollard said Tuesday that he was not concerned about the strength of the NZD "but we keep looking at it".

The NZD/USD starts on Tuesday higher, around 0.5870, lifted by some supportive comments from Reserve Bank (RBNZ) Governor Alan Bollard, a higher AUD/USD and hesitation in the USD's recent rise.

However, it failed to challenge its recent high.
