Sierra Leone appoints a new deputy governor

Mohamed Sanpha Fofanah has been appointed the new deputy governor of the central bank of Sierra Leone, PANA News said. He replaces Melvin Tucker who was described in an official statement, the report said, as "the encyclopaedia of the central bank".

The Sierra Leone government has appointed Mohamed Sanpha Fofanah as new deputy governor for the country's Central Bank, an official statement said.

A former World Bank employee, Fofanah replaces Melvin Tucker, who has left after 10
