Reserve Bank of India Governor Bimal Jalan has been nominated to the upper house of Parliament, a government statement on Thursday.
An economist by profession, Jalan, 62, had worked as executive director representing India on the board of the IMF and World Bank. He took over the reins of the Indian central bank in
