US Treasury's Snow to miss G7 meeting

US Treasury Secretary John Snow will not attend the meeting of Group of Seven finance ministers in London this weekend, as he has a chest cold.

"The secretary has a bad chest cold," Treasury spokesman Rob Nichols told reporters. "He will not be travelling to London for the G7."

Nichols said John Taylor, the Treasury's undersecretary for international affairs, will represent the United States in Snow's stead.
