Kansas Fed's Hoenig praises entrepreneurs

As much as half the economic growth in the United States has come from entrepreneurial ventures, the president and chief executive officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City said Thursday 28 April.

"The Federal Reserve System has given out a mandate, and our role understands that entrepreneurs make our country great," Thomas Hoenig said Thursday in a speech sponsored by the Entrepreneurial Exchange, a group dedicated to promoting business growth in the Kansas City area.
