
Oman begins automated clearing
Oman's central bank has started its automated clearing house system for handling bulk electronic credit and debit transfers, according to the Oman Daily Observer.
The system accommodates recurrent fund transfers such as employer salary payments and direct debits from customers by utility and finance companies for services and loan installments.
