Fukui says no quick end to BOJ easing policy

Bank of Japan governor Toshihiko Fukui on Wednesday sought to calm the bond market saying "You can rest assured that the ultra-loose policy will stay in place as long as the CPI (consumer price index) is falling or only showing weak rises".

Bank of Japan Governor Toshihiko Fukui, seeking to calm a bond market unsettled by signs of economic recovery, vowed on Wednesday to keep monetary policy relaxed until deflation in Japan was well and truly vanquished.
