Eurozone inflation sticks at 2.0% in January

Eurozone annual inflation in January is expected to remain at two per cent according to official estimates published by the European Commission.

December 2003 inflation was also two per cent, in line with the European Central Bank's target of an inflation level of "close to two per cent over the medium term".

Annual inflation is measured as the price change between the current month and the same month of the previous year.
