Tanigaki: G7 meeting to discuss financial markets

Finance officials of the Group of Seven nations meeting this week will probably talk about financial markets as part of discussions on the global economy, Japanese Finance Minister Sadakazu Tanigaki said on Friday.

"Of course international financial markets, or capital markets, will be discussed. It is likely to be discussed in the context of macroeconomic conditions," Tanigaki, who is due to attend the meeting along with Bank of Japan Governor Toshihiko Fukui, told a news conference.
