Bank of Japan Minutes, 15 and 16 March

The Bank of Japan's minutes from its 15 and 16 March monetary policy meeting published on 9 May showed policy makers agreed they can keep the target for reserves available to lenders by changing the way the bank conducts money-market operations.

Policy makers agreed "it would be appropriate to maintain the outstanding balance of current accounts at the bank within the current target range by devising ways to enhance its conduct of money-market operations," minutes show.
