Joint Indo-Russian seminar to begin in Moscow

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and Russian central bank, along with Vneshtorgbank, are organising the first ever Indo-Russian banking seminar in Moscow to devise joint strategies to control money laundering.

A framework agreement to this effect is likely to be signed between the two countries.

As many as 12 major Indian banks, including the State Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, Bank of Baroda, Indian Overseas Bank, Canara Bank and ICICI Bank, are likely to participate in the two-day
