Korea asks China for dollar-swap deal

The Bank of Korea on Tuesday confirmed that it had asked the People's Bank of China for a dollar-swap line after reports emerged on the proposed facility.

The central bank said that it had "proposed a bilateral swap agreement with the People's Bank of China" after Yonhap, a news agency, reported that the central banks were reviewing a $10 billion - $30 billion arrangement.
