Iran cbank predicts 5.2% GDP growth in 2001

Deputy Director of Central Bank of Iran (CBI) for Economic Affairs Akbar Kamijani predicted December 25 that Iran's GDP will top 5.2 per cent in the next Iranian year (starting 21 March 2001) compared to average of 2.9 per cent for 1997-2000.
