Kansas Fed's Hoenig expects US growth this year

The president of the Kansas Fed said Thursday night that he expects a 4 1/2 percent to 5 percent increase in U.S. gross domestic product this year.

Thomas Hoenig told an audience of bankers and business leaders that the economy continues to rebound from the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks and the stock market woes that followed.
