New Zealand to webcast monetary policy statements
The Reserve Bank of New Zealand is set to webcast the news conference that will follow this Thursday's rate decision.
The central bank said that it would be webcasting the conferences "as a means of ensuring its messages on monetary policy and financial stability are accessible to wider domestic and international audiences."
After trialling the webcast idea in September, the central bank conducted a poll, which found 89% of respondents would watch the webcasts again.
