Look to Stockholm for bailout tips: Cleveland Fed

A Cleveland Federal Reserve study has urged officials to follow Sweden's lead in resolving the financial crisis.

The Fed said on Thursday that the study, the work of central bank economists Emre Ergungor and Kent Cherney, identified four practices common to successful bailouts, all of which Stockholm had well applied: transparency, independence, the restoration of credit flows and the maintenance of market discipline.
