SADC central bank governors to meet in Botswana

Thirteen Southern African Development Community (SADC) central bank governors are expected in Gaborone, Botswana on Friday 30 april to attend the biannual meeting of the committee of Central Bank Governors.

The meeting is being hosted by the Bank of Botswana, for the first time, and is expected to discuss the harmonisation of legal and operational frameworks of SADC central banks, payment clearing, statement systems as well as exchange controls.
