Qatar appoints central bank chief
Sheikh Abdullah bin Saud Al Thani was named as the new Governor, replacing Abdullah bin Khaleed Al Attiyah, the report said.
"I will do my best to enhance the role of the QCB and the country's entire banking industry," he said reacting to his appointment.
