IFSRA announces new Chief Executive

The Irish Financial Services Regulatory Authority announced on Friday 16 December that Patrick Neary has been appointed to the post of Chief Executive.

The appointment was announced by the Chairman of the Financial Regulator, Brian Patterson. Patrick Neary is currently the Prudential Director of the Financial Regulator. He will take up the position of Chief Executive on 1 February 2006 when Liam O'Reilly retires from the post.
