Iran's central bank may issue new bonds

IRAN - After the first successful bond issue, Iran is intending to free papers for further 950m dollars around October, The Iranian press cited Central Bank Governor Mohsen Nurbakhsh as saying.

The issue is the second this year as well as since the 1979 Islamic revolution. The country launched its first bonds in July against perceived uncertainty surrounding the issue only to prove sceptics wrong with an oversubscribed investor demand.

The Persian daily Iran quoted Nurbakhsh as saying that the
