Fed's Bernanke sees U.S. expansion continuing

US - One of the Federal Reserve board's newest governors said this weekend that while the U.S. expansion should keep going, the Fed must be on guard against acute weakness.

At a gathering of global central bankers here, Fed governor Ben Bernanke said that the Fed was fully aware of risks to the U.S. expansion but said he anticipated steady growth.
