Swedish Riksbank's board unanimous on decision

The minutes of the Swedish Riksbank's monetary policy meeting on 27 April showed it was unanimous in its decision to leave the repo rate unchanged at 2%.

The Riksbank said at the time of the repo rate announcement that it will "soon be appropriate to bring monetary policy onto a less expansionary path."

On Thursday, the Central Statistics Bureau said Swedish consumer prices rose 0.5 pct in April from March, and were up 1.5 pct year-on-year, driven by higher prices fuel. The figures were marginally
