Issue of NBP revaluation reserve returns

Reports in Poland said the Finance Ministry may try to convince the Monetary Policy Council (RPP) that the central bank's revaluation reserve should be used to patch the budget deficit. However, the RPP criticised the idea, stating it would boost inflation.

The finance ministry has not abandoned its plans to use the Central Bank's (NBP) revaluation reserve to patch budget deficit. According to the Parkiet daily, the ministry will try to convince the new Monetary Policy
