IMF Statement on Assassination of Serbian PM
The Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Horst Kohler, made the following statement today:
"I was saddened and shocked by the news of the assassination of Serbian Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic. Mr. Djindjic had a hopeful and strategic vision for his country, which he pursued with courage and effectiveness. Under his government, Serbia made impressive progress in stabilizing
