Slovakia holds rates at 4.25%

The National Bank of Slovakia's rate-setting board on Tuesday opted to keep the benchmark limit rate for two-week repo tenders at 4.25%.

The central bank said the main factor in its decision to hold rates was that higher global food prices had led to an increase in inflation.
