Buba's Stark says strong euro is not export burden

The Vice-President of Germany's Bundesbank Juergen Stark said on Wednesday 25 February that the strong euro did not have too much of an impact on exports and that the eurozone was slowly recovering.

"The favourable impact of world trade and world growth dynamics are more important for our exports than the recent decline in price competitiveness caused by the appreciation of the euro," Stark said in the text of a speech for delivery at a dinner in New York.

Stark signalled he saw no need to change
