Australia's res bank updates banks on terror links

AUSTRALIA - The Reserve Bank of Australia Friday updated financial institutions on the people identified by the United Nations and the U.S. as linked to terrorism.

At the request of Australia's federal government, the Reserve Bank took steps in October to prohibit transactions involving accounts in the names of persons identified by the U.N. or the U.S. as linked to terrorism.
