Argentine c banks Pignanelli denies conflict

ARGENTINA - The central bank's new chairman, Aldo Pignanelli, denied that the central bank is at loggerheads with Economy Minister Roberto Lavagna.

There may be differences of opinion, but relations at a personal level with Lavagna are very good, he said.

In an interview with Radio Mitre, Pignanelli insisted that the central bank is "autonomous".
