Rakesh Mohan takes over as RBI deputy governor
Mohan, who has been appointed in place of Y.V.Reddy, will be in charge of key areas like monetary policy, external investments and operations and internal debt.
The RBI said in a statement that Mohan's appointment is for a period of three years.
