Settlement agreement between Lithuania and Belarus

The heads of the central banks of Lithuania and Belarus have signed an agreement on the procedure for settling accounts among economic entities, the Bank of Lithuania reported.

Reinoldijus Sarkinas, the chairman of the board of the Bank of Lithuania, and Piotr Prokopovich, the chairman of the Central Bank of Belarus, undersigned the document. The agreement will facilitate settling accounts between Belarus and Lithuanian economic entities, which will be possible in the national currencies as well
