New Czech central banker says sees no big changes

Incoming Czech central bank (CNB) governor Zdenek Tuma does not expect to make any big changes when he takes over the CNB this week, the daily Mlada Fronta reported.

"I wouldn't say that there will be any dramatic changes," he said in an interview with the paper.Tuma added that despite a bitter political controversy over his appointment by President Vaclav Havel - both leading parliamentary parties were strongly against Tuma for being too hawkish - he expects to have a sound working relationsh
