Bomb blast outside Turkey's central bank

TURKEY - An explosion occurred in front of office of the central bank in the Fatih district of Istanbul at about 1140 pm on Tuesday.

The explosion caused minor damage to a small van belonging to the central bank.

It was revealed that a resonant bomb caused Tuesday night's explosion. A full investigation into the explosion is under way. Security forces have launched an operation to find the assailants.
