RBNZ introduces E-mail statement service to public

NEW ZEALAND - The Reserve Bank of New Zealand on 4 July started to deliver its press statements to the general public via e-mail for the first time.

The central bank's web site says its new "Reserve Bank E-mail Service" is intended to allow members of the public to "know what the Reserve Bank is saying and doing, as it happens."

Subscribers will be e-mailed news releases, and other public statements, from the central bank as they are made.

Only users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
