Uzbek credit unions to get 20m dollars in project

UZBEKISTAN - The Asian Development Bank, the government and Central Bank of Uzbekistan have signed a memorandum of mutual understanding on a project of development of small and micro financing, the ADB office in Tashkent said.

An executive mission on this project has completed research in Uzbekistan during which it held a number of meetings with the members of the Cabinet of Ministers, the heads of the Central Bank, National Bank for Foreign Economic Activity, Pakhtabank [Cotton bank]
