BOJ share view on modest expansion - minutes

According to minutes released Wednesday 18 October, all members of the Bank of Japan's policy board agreed that the domestic economy would continue to expand moderately.

The minutes said, "The economy was likely to continue to expand moderately, in an environment in which a virtuous cycle of production, income, and expenditure would operate."

According to the minutes, members also agreed that wages as a whole, including overtime payments and special payments, were likely to continue increasing
