Argentina central bank denies chairman to resign
"We deny that Blejer considered or is considering resigning," a central bank official said.
Blejer told newspaper La Nacion that he had not tendered his resignation, but, according to the daily, he expressed doubts over his future.
Newspaper Clarin reported yesterday that rumours that Blejer was poised to step down had been circulating among banks on Wednesday.
