IMF's Kohler proposes Carstens as deputy MD
Horst Kohler, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) today proposed the appointment of Mexico's Deputy Secretary of Finance, Agustin Carstens, to the position of Deputy Managing Director of the IMF.
He will succeed Eduardo Aninat, who had earlier announced his decision to leave the IMF in June 2003 (See Press
