Russia gov't lifts restrictions on bank bond issue

RUSSIA - Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Alexei Kudrin reported that on 27 September the government decided to lift restrictions on the issue of Central Bank bonds.The Cabinet approved the relevant amendments to the law "On the Central Bank." Kudrin reiterated that formerly the law set up the period for issue of this kind of securities annually.
