BOJ to maintain easy money policy, Fukui says

Bank of Japan Governor Toshihiko Fukui told G7 finance ministers and central bankers that Japan's potential economic growth is increasing and the bank will keep easing monetary policy to overcome deflation.

"Potential growth is increasing in Japan, so that Japanese economy will be able to grow on a cruising speed, looking for a more stable economic growth," Fukui said at a press conference in Washington after meetings of the major industrial nations.

Fukui repeated that the central bank would keep
