Riksbank appoints new department heads
Mr Barvell currently works at the Secretariat of the Executive Board and is managing director of the Riksbank's subsidiary Svensk Kontantforsorjning AB. He is expected to take up the post of department head in autumn 2004. Mr Barvell has many years' experience from the Riksbank, including managerial positions at the former Monetary and Exchange Rate Policy
