No job losses under Bank of Italy branch closure

The Bank of Italy has reassured its employees that it will be making no redundancies, despite closing more than a third of its branches.

The central bank said: "The reorganisation will not entail any redundancies. The central bank intends to find the best solutions to limit difficulties for staff members, taking individual and family needs into consideration as far as possible."
