Swazi banking system undergoes modernisation

SWAZILAND - Along with other countries of the Southern Africa Development Community (SADC), Swaziland is revamping its banking system up to international standards, Bank of Swaziland Governor Martin Dlamini said on Apr 6, 2001.

Dlamini said the objective was to fine-tune the country's system of payment to internationally recognised norms and procedures so as to render it compatible with other regional systems.
