Plans for GCC central bank veer off track

Gulf states have yet to decide on the location of a regional central banking hub almost seven months after they were scheduled to announce the hub's site.

Reuters, a news agency, reported Hamood Sangour Hashim Al-Zadjali, the executive president of the Central Bank of Oman, as saying on Monday that representatives of the six Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states had yet to decide on the location of the monetary authority.
