Aid response "not so great" - Husain

Pakistan's central bank governor, Dr Ishrat Husain, has expressed his disappointment at the "not so great" aid response to the devastating earthquake which hit the country last month.

"If the international donor community could have come up with a significant contribution to the relief fund of the president, the burden on the government would have been manageable," Husain said in an interview on Monday 7 November. He was speaking to reporters at an Islamic Financial Services Forum in Luxembourg.
