Iran's Khatami reappoints central bank governor

President Mohammad Khatami, in a decree issued on Monday 28 March, reconfirmed Ebrahim Sheybani as the governor of the Central Bank of Iran, Iranian news agency IRNA reported this week.

The decree is issued in accordance with Note 1 of Article 10 of the fourth (economic, cultural and social) development plan (2005-2010) and the approval of CBI General Assembly members.

The president wished Sheybani success in his next term in office, IRNA said.
