PBOC's Zhou says watching prices -report

China's central bank chief Zhou Xiaochuan said that the People's Bank of China will closely monitor any further changes in the consumer price index, according to a report published on Monday 7 June.

"The central bank will strengthen its monitoring and analysis of any change in consumer prices," Zhou was quoted as saying by the official Financial News, according to AFX, as he visited several local People's Bank of China branches.
