Bank of Canada keeps interest rate unchanged at 2%

The Bank of Canada announced Tuesday 8 June that it is maintaining its target for the overnight rate at 2 per cent. In a press release it said all things considered, the Bank's outlook for economic growth and core inflation is essentially unchanged from that of the April Monetary Policy Report.
