Gold rises to 27-year high

Gold reached a 27-year high on Monday as oil hit $85 per barrel and the dollar weakened further.

The price of gold reached $758.41 per ounce, which is still more than $90 short of the all-time high of $850 per ounce, which was reached in January 1980.
