Stijn Claessens
Stijn Claessens is an executive fellow at the Yale School of Management. He was the deputy head of the monetary and economic department of the Bank for International Settlements until September 2023. Before that he worked in the international finance division at the Federal Reserve Board, the research department of the International Monetary Fund, and at the World Bank, and taught at New York University’s business school and the University of Amsterdam. He holds a PhD from the Wharton School and an MA from Erasmus University, Rotterdam.
