Michael Taylor

Michael Taylor has held a variety of senior positions in central banks, regulatory agencies and in the financial sector in Asia and the Middle East. He has also held a number of academic positions, and has published widely on financial stability and financial regulation. He is best known as the author of “Twin peaks”: a regulatory structure for the new century, published in 1995, which proposed a then-radical shake-up of the UK’s regulatory system.
